Still waiting, but getting closer

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, but unfortunately there was little to write about. Even though there has not been much to say, I should have posted a few things along the way, so now we will play catch up. Like I posted earlier our Homestudy process began on Dec 18th. Our SW V visited our home on Jan. 5th and gave us great reviews, with no items to fix. On Feb 18th, V completed our Homestudy and forwarded it on to the Director for review. On March 2nd, our Homestudy was forwarded to the Executive Director in the Modesto office for review. I received a call on Friday from V with a few questions that the Exec Director had before she could approve our Homestudy. This is exciting because it means we are getting closer and closer by the day to having an approved Homestudy. It is also exciting because once the Exec Director has completed her review, our Homestudy is then sent down to the processing department for final approval. Usually this process takes less than a week to complete. YEAH!!! Once processing has completed their review and finalized the approval of our Homestudy we will finally be released to join the waiting list for placement of children!!!!!!! And then it will be another waiting game until we are informed that they have found a match and God places our children in our home.
