Now that we are on our Homestudy jouney, I thought I would explain a little bit more about it. Once we received our social worker V it started what I call the Homestudy time clock. What this means is that we have been given certain time frames that each party in our homestudy process has to complete their part. This dates are not set in stone, but they give us an idea of what to expect.
From December 18th to January 31st - This is the time frame that V has to review all of our paperwork, schedule our individual interviews, visit our home and complete our homestudy packet.
From February 1st to February 12th - This is the time frame that the Sacramento Agency Director has to review the Homestudy packet that V completes. Depending on the amount of his workload this process could be a little quicker.
From February 12th to March 12th - This is the time frame that the Modesto office (the main office) has to review the homestudy packet.
Once the Modesto office has signed off on our Homestudy packet we will be informed by V and at that time we reach the most exciting stage of our journey, Child Search.
